These are just a few general guidelines to help you prepare your work before you bring your order in to us. For specific questions you may have, please don't hesitate to contact one of our representatives.

Measurements

This is a crucial step in your designing a project. No matter how well the order is executed by our workroom, if your measurements are not exact and do not include all necessary details, the furnishing may not look perfect.

If you find that you have problems while measuring and you are not sure what exactly you should measure for, call us and we will do the measurements for you at a minimal cost.

Fabric

Please keep in mind that not all fabrics will perform equally, nor will they be suited for all designs. If you are not sure how a particular fabric will look when cut, ironed, and sewn, please consult with us. Many a times, a fabric will be perfect for one design, but may be unsuited for another. In addition to fabric, consider whether or not you will have lining added to your project, and what kind of lining that will be. This also affects the way the finished furnishing will look.

Fabric Estimator

We provide you with a basic fabric estimator for help with fabric measuring and estimating. This is to be used just as a guide. However, for assurance you should consult with our specialists.

Top Treatments

Top window treatments can be hung on a variety of boards, blocks, poles, rods, etc. This also needs to be considered when designing a project. Fabric texture, fullness, overlap, etc. will require a certain support system. Ask whenever you are in doubt about the overall heaviness or look of your finished project. Our installers will gladly assist you with your installation needs.
